Cinnamon Sugar Roasted Chickpeas

This is a great healthy snack filled with protein and fiber to keep you going throughout the day


  • 1 can of garbanzo beans (chickpeas)

  • ½ tsp sugar

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

  • Olive oil cooking spray


  1. Drain and rinse chickpeas

  2. Lay out a paper towel and evenly spread out the chickpeas. Let them dry out for about an hour

  3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

  4. Line a baking sheet with tin foil

  5. Spread the chickpeas on the baking sheet

  6. Bake for 35-45 minutes. Check after 35 minutes to see if they are crunchy, if they are not there yet, cook a little longer but make sure not to burn them

  7. After they are done, transfer them to a bowl and spray with olive oil spray

  8. Add sugar, cinnamon and salt and mix well

  9. Then, Enjoy!
